Going the extra mile is getting back up after we've been knocked down, despite whatever has happened, and saying, "I still choose the very best for myself!"

The Extra Mile America Foundation is an organization that encourages positive attitude and action by reaching out to individuals, organizations, businesses, and schools. Through lectures, teleconferences, and social networks, we empower people to apply the extra-mile principle, reach their goals, and live a more self-directed life.

Extra Mile Day 2010 is a day to celebrate individuals and organizations that go the extra mile in order to make a difference and lift up others in the community.
