It took over 1500 miles of pedaling, but today my good luck on pedal days ran out. It rained with a vengeance at times today between Lincoln and Omaha...and I was as soaked as if I had jumped into the Nebraska Platte River. The good news was, though, that the temperatures dropped significantly. Before today in Nebraska, I felt like I was riding a bike in a sauna!

This whole bike tour is about being a voice for the "extra mile" theme...doing just a bit more in everything we do in order to create more value in our lives. 

Denver was loaded with really quality and inspiring people. Yesterday, I listed a few of those individuals. Today, here's a few more. 

Today was one of those good days in life.

On Saturday, riding from Colorado Springs toward Denver, it rained.

I will never forget Monarch Pass in Colorado.

Today, I pedaled from Montrose to Gunnison, Colorado. It was some of the most beautiful and dramatic country I have ever seen! The cliff mountains and the greenery take your breath away...and what is so unusual is that the scenery can change just over the next mountain pass!

Today, I pedaled from Green River, Utah to Grand Junction, Colorado.

I am in Utah. Pedaling, of course. 

 Have you ever run into someone at a party or at an event where after meeting him or her you mention to your spouse or friend, "Wow...'so and so' was really interesting! What a great person!"?
