A tougher day...but still pedaling!

It took over 1500 miles of pedaling, but today my good luck on pedal days ran out. It rained with a vengeance at times today between Lincoln and Omaha...and I was as soaked as if I had jumped into the Nebraska Platte River. The good news was, though, that the temperatures dropped significantly. Before today in Nebraska, I felt like I was riding a bike in a sauna!

Climbing the Rockies!

Today, I pedaled from Montrose to Gunnison, Colorado. It was some of the most beautiful and dramatic country I have ever seen! The cliff mountains and the greenery take your breath away...and what is so unusual is that the scenery can change just over the next mountain pass!
